Ghana defender Gideon Mensah returns to training after injury recovery

The Black Stars defender Gideon Mensah has returned to training after sidelined with injury. He made an injury comeback on Thursday Auxerre.

The talented left-back suffered an injury during Auxerre 1:0 win against Troyes in week 29 of the French Ligue I on April 1, 2023. The injury took him off in the first half of the encounter, getting replaced in the 26th minute.

Mensah returned to the pitch and has been spotted going through drills with the club’s physiotherapist.

The defender’s return to training is a huge boost to Auxerre, who are gradually pulling away from the drop zone.
