“GFA’s Leadership Is a Disgrace to Ghana Football” – Aziz Haruna Futa
Aziz Haruna Futa, the National Nasara Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has strongly criticized the current leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), describing their management of football in the country as a “disgrace.”
Futa’s remarks come at a time when many football fans and stakeholders are voicing their concerns about the state of football in Ghana.
In an interview on Asempa FM, Aziz Futa expressed his frustration over the lack of progress highlighting the absence of corporate sponsorship for the Ghana Premier League as a major setback, adding that the national team, the Black Stars, has lost its appeal and prestige.
“Everything the current administration of the GFA is doing is a disgrace to Ghana football. Our league has no headline sponsor, and the Black Stars is not attractive anymore. It is worrying.” He said.
