Former Kotoko Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum to be named Black Galaxies trainer

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is expected to be appointed Black Galaxies head coach, following decision taking by the Ghana Football Association.

Ogum who led Asante Kotoko SC to clinch their 25th Premier league title last year is currently unattached after leaving the Kumasi-based outfit before the commencement of 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League season.

The Football body, believe the University of Cape Coast lecturer have vast experience to handle the national team having worked as an assistant to coach Annor Walker.

He was an integral member of the technical team that secured 2023 CHAN qualification for Ghana after several attempts. Ogum who is deputising Annor Walker for the upcoming TotalEnergies Africa Nations Championship in Algeria will takeover the coaching job after the tournament.

He has previously managed top-flight clubs like Ebusua Dwarfs and WAFA.
