Former Chelsea FC star Michael Essien completes UEFA A and UEFA Elite Youth A licence
Ex-Ghana international and AC Milan midfielder, Michael Essien has bagged two UEFA coaching licence and expected to resume mainstream football coaching.
The Bison after retiring from international football stepped into football management where he has since being with Danish club Nordsjaelland.
During this period, he acquired tuition and has secured UEFA A and UEFA Elite Youth A licence hoping to take a club to commence his coaching role.
The former Chelsea FC and Real Madrid star took to his social media handles to announce his certificate and offered thanks to his coaches.
“Step by step, I am learning and growing as a coach. Happy to have completed my UEFA A and UEFA Elite Youth A license. Thanks to the family, @fawales, my tutors, my mentor and RTD/FCN for the support.
“And big thank you to Tom Vernon and Flemming Pedersen for giving me the opportunity to work in the RTD/FCN organisation, I am looking forward to continue developing on and off the pitch. On to the next Course. ⚽️📓🖊
He is now a certified coach ready to storm the World having learnt alot from Portuguese trainer and Serie winner Jose Mourinho as a player.
