Felix Afena-Gyan climbed off bench to inspire Cremonese to draw away with Bologna

Ghana youngster Felix Afena-Gyan once again failed to break through Cremonese starting line-up for their Italian Serie A game against Bologna, however was good after his introduction in the second half.

The Italian Serie A newcomers Cremonese played away to 11th placed Bologna in week 19 fixture, which ended in stalemate at the Stadio Renato Dell’Ara on Monday evening.

Coach Davide Ballardini was hoping to rally on for a deserving victory after Daniel Okereke gave the visitors the lead in the 50th minute. But, an own goal five minutes later from Vlad Chiriches denied them as they drew 1-1 in full time.

Black Stars forward Felix Afena-Gyan climbed off the bench to play a key role in Cremonese avoiding yet another defeat.

He replaced Daniel Ciofani exactly on the hour mark.

The draw still leaves Cremonese bottom of the Italian Serie A with 8 points.
