EXCLUSIVE: Legon Cities winger Jonah Attuquaye joins Latvian virsliga club FK Auda

Ghanaian attacker, Jonah Attuquaye have switched camp from the Ghana Premier League to Latvian top-flight following a successful negotiations with FK Auda.

Jonah who was on the radar of Ghanaian giant’s Asante Kotoko SC and Hearts of Oak SC sealed a sensational move to Latvian on Thursday, after putting pen to paper.

The 22-year old signed a long-term contract from Ghanaian club Legon Cities FC.

“Another footballer who joined “Auda” is Jona Attuke . The 22-year-old Ghanaian joins the Green-Blacks from his native Legon Cities FC, where he played both as a striker and as a winger.” A statement on the club’s website.

He scored two goals in 13 games for Legon Cities in the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League season.

Attuquaye was part of the Black Galaxies team that suffered group stage elimination in the just-ended CHAN tournament in Algeria.

He previously played for Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana’s elite division.
