Nkrataasem.com can exclusively report, that Ghanaian giant’s Accra Hearts of Oak SC have agreed to part ways with first team coach Slavko Matic after a short stint.

The Serbian gaffer joined the Continental Club Masters when the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League had already commenced with the Capital-based outfit playing 6 games under the watch of Coach Samuel Boadu.

Matic came in to replace Ghanaian tactician Samuel Boadu who had won the League title, back-to-back MTN FA Cup titles and President Cup with Hearts. But the 46-year-old gaffer Matic have failed to harvest convincing results for the club as Boadu’s successor.

He was recently prevented from training with Hearts of Oak SC first team prior to their game against Asante Kotoko SC by aggrieved supporters of the club.

The UEFA Pro Licence A holder managed 14 matches, recording 7 wins and three draws with the die cast already for his departure.

The club have agreed to part ways with him but will have to pay him an amount of $20,000 as compensation after signing a year contract.

Matic, barely spent four months in office but will have to exit the club. Assistant coach David Ocloo currently is in charge of the team and preparing them for their weekend clash against Bibiani GoldStars SC.
