Exclusive: Hearts of Oak hold talks to sign Christopher Nettey
The Continental Club Masters, Accra Hearts of Oak SC are in advanced talks to sign defender Christopher Nettey.
The Phobians after losing their skipper Fatawu Mohammed who commanded the right-back position, have turned attention to signing Ghanaian right-back Christopher Nettey as his replacement.
Hearts of Oak have talks travelled far with verbal agreement done waiting for paper works as a 2-year deal around the table looks set for Nettey.
The 24-year-old old Ghanaian has left Asante Kotoko SC after his stint with the side ended on December 26, 2022.
He struggled to cement kotoko right-back position after Augustine Agyapong taking place.
Upon his contract expiration, both parties have agreed to part ways.
In the coming days, the Continental Club Masters will announce the former Attram de Visser star should both side’s agree on contract terms.
