SkyBet Championship side, Bristol City have declined Bournemouth deal for forward Antoine Semenyo.

The English Premier League side Bournemouth have bid for the services of the Ghanaian striker following his exploit in less than a season with Bristol City.

Bournemouth have seen their £10million bid rejected on Thursday, requesting for an amount of £12million for Semenyo’s transfer this January transfer window.

The Ghana international joined Bristol City early this season on a year deal with an option to extend for another 12-months. However, Semenyo’s contract ends with Bristol City after this season.

Bournemouth have lost all six games since returning from the World Cup break, four of them in the Premier League, and have dropped to 17th place, sitting just one point above the relegation zone and wants to improve their attacking department this transfer window.

Antoine Semenyo has scored six times in 23 outings for the Ashton Gate club this season.
