Edem Agbana supports and partners fast-rising lower-tier side Heritage Sporting Club

Former Deputy National Youth Organizer for National Democratic Party(NDC), Eric Edem Agbana during the week went to the aid of Division Two League club based in the Volta Region, Heritage Sporting Club.

The Parliamentary hopeful for Ketu North Constituency donated an undisclosed sum of money and a set of jersey to enable the club’s participation in the ongoing 2022-23 Volta Regional Division Two League which is being held at Akatsico park.

As a sports enthusiast and youth activist who has also been extending similar supports to football clubs like Young Apostles, Lead SC, Dekpor Mighty Rovers etc, he solemnly pledged to partner with the Club in order to help unearth and develop potentials of the youth in the municipality and beyond

In attendance to receive the cash were Mr. Agbavor Mensah Conzy – C.E.O, Mr Dzoku Bright – Team manager, Mr Moses Collinson Gbeku – director of finance and Richard Selasi Ablorh – general secretary .

Management of the club was very grateful for the kind gesture and pledged to make judicious use of the huge support.

“This support has shown how eager you want to see the future of football in our society. It will go a long way to help the team especially knowing that people like you are watching and has interest of developing the game at heart”.

“The entire team is grateful and we look forward to working cordially with you as our partners”.

Meanwhile, Heritage Sporting Club sits top of Southern sector A Zone B table with 14 points as they set to end first round this weekend’s with game against Sporting Rovers.

Heritage Sporting Club are unbeaten in 6 games, conceding just once with seven goals scored.
