Daniel Kofi Kyereh undergoes successful surgery

Ghana attacking midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh is set to miss the rest of the season after undergoing a successful surgery on Monday.

The SC Freiburg midfielder, sustained a knee injury few days ago and have visited the treatment room, coming out with good news thus successful surgery. However, he might not play a game till 2022-23 league season ends.

Kyereh suffered setback, with his teammates showing support to him during a warm up where they wore a t-shirt with his jersey number and last name ‘Kyereh’ at the back.

The club have subsequently announced that Daniel Kofi Kyereh will not be available for the remainder of the season due to a cruciate ligament injury.

Daniel Kofi Kyereh joined the Brisgau Brazilians prior to the start of the season from St Pauli and has made 18 appearances in the ongoing season in all competitions with three goals to his name.
He will miss Ghana’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers scheduled for next month as he is expected to stay back for months.
