CONTROVERSY: Coach Slavko Matic prevented from training with Hearts of Oak team
Aggrieved fans of Accra Hearts of Oak SC have stormed the training grounds of Accra Hearts of Oak SC, Pobiman to sack Slavko Matic.
Their issues has got to do with head coach Slavko Matic. According to the fans, the Serbian trainer should step aside and should not be part of the team till game against bitter rivals Asante Kotoko SC.
Hearts of Oak SC will lock horns with Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC on Sunday, March 05, 2023.
The fans believe Slavko Matic has showed several reasons of poor performance and can not lead them play against Asante Kotoko SC. They do not see a positive result on Sunday should Matic sit at the dugout.
The playing body was scheduled to train on Friday morning at Pobiman but saw furious fans storm the place to prevent Matic from entering the perimeter for close to an hour.
Heart of Oak fans wants David Ocloo on the bench on Sunday, therefore should be the one training with the team.
Game scheduled for Sunday at exactly 3:00 pm.
