Clermont Foot defender Alidu Seidu has taken a huge step in his rehabilitation process after resuming light training on Wednesday.

The Ghanaian international is on his way to recovery after injuring his meniscus in a league fixture against Lille a month ago.

The 22 year old subsequently underwent a successful surgery and was ruled out for four weeks.

The right-back is now on the track to make a full recovery after the upcoming international break.

Seidu has been an integral member of Clermont this season, making 20 Ligue 1 appearances in the ongoing campaign.

He was part of Ghana’s squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The right-back will miss the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola.
