Christopher Nettey part company with Asante Kotoko SC

The Ghanaian talented right-back Christopher Nettey has officially parted ways with giant’s Asante Kotoko SC.

After three years plying with the Ghana Premier League record holder’s (25), have opted to leave upon contract expiration.

The 24-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2019 from Lower-tier side Attram de Visser were he enjoyed good moments with the club, leading to his maiden call-up to Black Stars in 2020.

However, the arrival of Augustine Agyapong limited Nettey’s playing time.

And upon contract expiration, the player has declined a new offer asuch, parted ways with the reigning Ghana Premier League champions.

Christopher Nettey was a member of the team that clinched Kotoko 25th league title last season under Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

His contract ended on December 26, 2022 and is looking forward to a new challenge.

Hearts of Oak SC have shown interest in acquiring his services with talks far advanced.
