Christian Atsu’s one week observation set for tomorrow

The one-week observation of former Ghana international Christian Atsu Twasam will be observed tomorrow, Saturday.

Atsu died at age 31, as a result of earthquake in Turkey and Syria which got him trapped in a two storey building in a 7.7 magnitude of earthquake. After an enigmatic moment of football game for Hatayaspor where he scored the only goal of the game from benched was trapped close to 12-days, only to be confirmed dead on Saturday morning.

His death has left many in shock, especially the Ghanaian community and his former clubs.

His remains arrived in Ghana last week expected to be given a befitting burial.

Meanwhile, March 04, 2023 will be for Christian Atsu’s one week at the Adjiringanor astro turf before family announce the final funeral date for all Ghanaians.

Atsu with the Black Stars made 65 appearance and scored nine goals.

He had stint with FC Porto, AFC Bournemouth, Newcastle United, FC Everton, Malaga and Chelsea FC.
