Breaking: Medeama SC part ways with Coach David Duncan

The Yellow and Mauve side have parted ways with Ghanaian trainer David Duncan after a short stint.

The experienced tactician was appointed to the position of Head Coach at Medeama SC early this season after sitting home unattached for close to five years. He was expected to drive the Tarkwa-based club to win the league title after the side had finished 2nd in the 2021-22 Ghana Premier league season.

Duncan was appointed in September and in less than four months, received the sacked as head coach.

He led the side for 9 games, and recorded poor statistics having harvested four consecutive defeats.

The former Ashanti Gold SC and Hearts of Oak SC gaffer had three wins and two draws and lost four matches.

With 11 points, he leaves Medeama SC 13th on the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League table.
