Black Queens touch down in Cotonou
The Black Queens of Ghana have arrived in Benin, Cotonou ahead of friendly against Benin female senior national team .
Manager Nora Häuptle landed in Cotonou on Friday evening after departing the shores of Ghana in the afternoon.
The Swiss International begun training with 30-Black Queens players at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence weeks ago and looking forward to have a rejuvenated national team.
The Black Queens will play Benin on Sunday February 19 before locking horns with Togo on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Four foreign based players, Princella Adubea from FC Hiryat, Israel, Evelyn Badu from Avaldsnes FC, Norway, Captain Portia Boakye, Djurgardens IF, Sweden and Azumah Bugre from IFK Norkoping in Sweden arrived on Monday to prepare for the matches.
Squad of 26 arrived for the game including Yakubu Fidous, Eshun Linda and Owusu Princess.
