The Black Queens of Ghana will now play the Lioness of Senegal in an International friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium as part of the rebuilding exercise for future competitions.

The Queens who were originally scheduled to play against the Fennecs of Algeria had encounter rescheduled after a communique from Algeria confirmed their Iñaki to honour the invitations.

On Sunday, the Black Queens walloped Senegal 3-0 in the first leg of friendly at the Capital with Gifty Assifuah netting brace before Grace Asantewaa also getting on the scoresheet. It was an exciting game for the Queens likewise Senegal.

Ghana will now engage their counterparts Senegal in the second leg on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Kickoff is 4:00 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The two matches will offer Coach Nora Hauptle an opportunity to assess the strength of the team and strategize for the future.

The Black Queens even before, beating Algeria 3-0 they defeated Benin 3:0 in an international friendly at Stade de l’Amitie in Cotonou as part of the process to build a strong team for competitions such as the WAFU Cup of Nations and the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers.
