The Black Queens as part of putting the team in shape for their upcoming assignment locked horns with Benin on Sunday in Cotonou.

Ghana with a three goal lead in the first half, had an easy pass to harvest a 3-0 victory.

Princess Owusu scored her debut national team goal in the 37th minute after Princella Adubea had opened the scoring 9 minutes earlier.

Before, Evelyn Badu scored right at the end of half time with a delightful volley to make it 3-0 for Black Queens at half time.

The host, Benin failed to impress and could not found antidote to coach Nora Häuptle tactics as they never came good.

The last two minutes, saw end to end action but the Black Queens kept their composure to keep a cleansheet at full time.

The team will continue their journey to face Togo in the coming days.
