Black Galaxies to lock horns with Hearts of Oak in a friendly ahead of CHAN tournament
Two-time CHAN finalists, Ghana Black Galaxies will square off with Ghana Premier League giant’s Hearts of Oak SC in a preparatory encounter as they hope in building a strong team for the 2022 TotalEnergies Africa Nations Championship (CHAN( tournament.
Head Coach Annor Walker having camp his boys for close to two weeks, wants to hand them a test asuch arranged to face the Capital based outfit Hearts of Oak SC.
The clash is slated for Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ahead of the 7th edition of the African Nations Championship set to commence in Algeria next month, Annor Walker invited 40-players to resume camping at the Ghanaman Soccer for Excellence, Prampram.
The technical team is expected to prun squad to 23 players before the team departs Ghana in the first week of January.
The tournament will kick-start on Friday, January 13 to Saturday, February 4, 2023.
Ghana will make their fourth appearance at the tournament, having been in the finals in 2009 and 2014 and lost 2-0 to DR Congo and 4-3 via penalty shootouts to Ethiopia.
The Black Galaxies will open their campaign against Madagascar on January 15, before taking on two-time bronze winners Sudan and two-time winners Morocco on January 19 and 23 respectively in Group C.
