Bibiani Goldstars coach Michael Osei perturbed with Premier league suspension
The 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League have been put to hold, after Ashanti Gold SC dragged the Ghana Football Association to Court.
The Ghanaian club who fells aggrieved with manner at which, they have been treated by the football governing body, with regards to their 2020-21 Ghana Premier League game against Inter Allies FC went to court to file a case of Injunction on the top-flight after the appeals Committee of the Association threw away their case.
The team have been demoted to Division two by GFA, having handcuffed them in match manipulation scandal.
On Friday, October 14, 2022 court called for the two parties and after hearing adjourned the case to Thursday, October 20 2022.
Technical head of Premier league Side Bibiani GoldStars Michael Osei has expressed disappointment and unhappy with the suspension of the league.
“Very unfortunate, no one is happy about it but we have to managed it”
“As Coaches we need to improvise a lot on our training programmes to maintain the shape of the playing body” he told Footballghana.com.
