Recently, they humbled Great Olympics 3-0 at home in a league game.
Unlike the Porcupine Warriors, they are yet to win in three matches and have failed to score in three consecutive games. They lost 2-0 to Dreams FC, drew goalless with Nsoatreman FC and lost by a narrow margin 1-0 to Aduana Stars FC.
Kotoko defeat to Aduana Stars was in the MTN FA Cup round of 16 clash in Dormaa on Sunday.
Despite, Asante Kotoko regarded giant’s Bechem United FC have promise to exhibit high level of football on Wednesday when they travel to play the Reds.
Speaking ahead of encounter, Ghanaian gaffer Kassim Mingle says his side will approach the game like any ordinary one and will not stress his team soo much.
However, the host will have a taste of something not pleasant to the nose and Bechem United will not be an easy pass to Kotoko SC.
“We are approaching it like any other league game. I do not want to put any pressure on my boys by doing any extraordinary preparation”
“It will be a very tough match, Kotoko will come like wounded lions because they have lost two games on a row but they are meeting a team called Bechem United”
“It is going to be very tough for them. You can’t just walk over Bechem United like that.
“They will not get it on a silver platter, the better side with luck will win.”-Coach Kasim Mingle told Oyerepa FM.
Bechem United sit ahead of Kotoko on the log with 2 points better off having amassed 30 points. That means, the visitors can not afford to loose or drop points against the Reds.
