Asante Kotoko trio returns from injury to strengthen team

Reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko SC have received squad boast with the return of midfielder Rashid Nortey, Isaac Oppong and Sheriff Mubarik.

The three players resumed training on Wednesday after visiting the treatment room for various injuries. After weeks of missing the services of the trio, Kotoko will see them in their weekend match day squad should they pass the fitness test.



Rashid Nortey, Isaac Oppong and Mubarik Sheriff all joined the team’s treatment and completed all drills at the Adako Jachie training complex.

The Porcupine Warriors meanwhile, are still without head coach Seydou Zerbo with task on the shoulders of Wellington, the deputy manager.



Kotoko this weekend’s will host Medeama SC on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League match-week 23 fixture.
