Brands and commercial manager of Division One League side Nations FC, Kennedy Boakye Ansah says the outfit is open to receiving Asante Kotoko SC at their complex.

Asante Kotoko SC have been asked to relocate to a new venue for their upcoming Premier league matches following the decision by authorities thus, Ghana Football Association, National Sports Authority and Ministry of Youth and Sports to close down the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola scheduled for March 23rd, 2023.

The idea is to give pitch managers the ample time to work on the pitch and raise the level to a befitting one recognised for a category A sanctioned game.

Reports, reveals management of the reigning Ghana Premier League champions are planning to adopt the Kwame Kyei Sports complex till Ghana is done with game against Angola.

Speaking in an interview to Accra based media outlet Hot FM and monitored by Nkrataasem.com , Kennedy Boakye Ansah who happens to be the communication director and brands manager to Nations FC who owns Kwame Kyei Sports complex says they will never say NO to Kotoko should they switch to Abrankese.

“We as a club and managers of the facility will never say NO to Asante Kotoko, let’s not forget that Dr Kwame Kyei is the board chairman of Asante Kotoko and his son is the owner Nations Fc”.

The Porcupine Warriors currently, sit behind leaders Aduana Stars FC with 31 points, five points deficit after beating Bechem United FC 1-0 on Wednesday.
