Asante Kotoko has nothing in Samerboi to harvest – Samartex’s Paul Anyamba
FC Samartex vow to inflict pain on Asante Kotoko SC on Saturday
FC Samartex business development manager, Paul Anyamba has been speaking ahead of his outfit epic encounter against Asante Kotoko SC on Saturday afternoon.
The Timber Giant’s will host the Reds, in their match-week 22 fixture at the Nsenkyire Sports Stadium.
With impressive performance at home, Samartex is hoping to stun the reigning champions Asante Kotoko SC as a revenge in their 2-1 defeat in first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The Premier League debutants have amassed 22 points from 11 home matches, winning 6, drawing 4 and losing just one.
They have vowed to add Asante Kotoko SC to their long list of teams who have failed to record a win at Samerboi. Only Bibiani GoldStars SC managed that with a 3-0 scoreline.
Speaking in an interview with Subanpa FM on Friday evening, Paul Anyamba disclosed that the entire playing body are aiming for a scalp over Asante Kotoko SC. Disclosing that, the Reds have nothing to pick at the Nsenkyire Sports Stadium on Saturday.
“We can assure you, considering the euphoria and the support base ahead of game against Asante Kotoko we will pick a win on Saturday”
“Even when, things look difficult we are able to grind results and tomorrow it won’t be different at the Nsenkyire sports complex because the players are poised and ready to beat Kotoko”We are turning our home grounds to a fortress, teams will try but at the end of the day we shall over power you”, he said.
“Kotoko made us taste our first defeat of the campaign, losing 2-1 away and the players believe they have a score to settle with them”
“They believe is time to also let Kotoko taste a bitter defeat at Samerboi”.
Encounter is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at exactly 3:00 PM at the Nsenkyire Sports Stadium.
One point separates Asante Kotoko SC and FC Samartex who sit 9th on the log with 30 points.
