Aduana FC head coach Aristica Cioaba has voiced his disappointment after his team was held to a goalless draw by Medeama SC in their fiercely contested Week 9 Ghana Premier League fixture on Saturday afternoon.

The encounter, staged at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa, produced an intense battle between two of the league’s top sides but ultimately ended without a breakthrough.

In his post-match interview, Cioaba insisted that Aduana were the better side throughout the 90 minutes and created enough chances to earn a win.

“The game ended 0-0, but I think if you look at the game, Aduana had more opportunities to score. Medeama may have had one chance or two chances in the 90 minutes. But it’s good football, what I saw, the two teams tried to play football and attack,” he said.

The Romanian tactician, however, remained positive about his side’s overall display, praising their attacking intent and commitment.

“It was possible to win the game, but it ended in a draw. Our performance was good, so let’s continue working hard to improve,” Cioaba added.

Aduana will now shift focus to their next fixture as they look to maintain their push for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title.
