Accra Hearts of Oak buys Women’s Division One club Nimobi Ladies

Ghana Premier League giant’s, Accra Hearts of Oak SC have purchased lower-tier Women’s club Nimobi Ladies FC, reports reveals.

The Continental Club Masters who will soon participate in the maiden edition of Africa Super Cup is obliged to acquire a Women’s team. Nimobi Ladies FC will have it name changed to Oak Ladies in no time to begin process of ownership.

The CAF approved competition, is scheduled to commence in August 2023 with 24 clubs across Africa.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) launched the groundbreaking Africa Super League in August 2022 and the initiative, is expected to transform African football.

The champion of the Africa Super League would get $11.5 million of the $100 million prize pool.

Each of CAF’s 54 Member Countries will receive an annual allocation of USD 1 million from the Africa Super League, for a total of USD 54 million per year to improve football in all of Africa
