Abdul Razak ‘Golden Boy’ hopeful Hearts of Oak SC will beat ASR Bamako in Mali

Veteran Ghanaian coach Karin Abdul Razak is optimistic Accra Hearts of Oak SC will record a win over ASR Bamako in their first 2022-23 CAF Confederation Cup game.

The Continental Club Masters will lock horns with the Malian side after having a walk-over in the first round of preliminary stage.

They will first take on the Malian side away in the first leg in Mali at the Stade 26 Mars on Saturday, October 8, 2022 before hosting them in Accra.

Asante Kotoko SC Legend, Karim Abdul Razak has wished Accra Hearts of Oak SC well and believe they will beat ASR Bamako.

“What I will say is I wish Hearts of Oak the best of luck.

“I hope I was with them in Bamako, I will have seen everything, maybe I would have found ways for them to go through”

“I’m not there, I’m home now but the only thing I will say is that, I pray for them because we are all Ghanaians”

“We pray and hope that Hearts will be victorious”

“I have my people there, I told them Hearts are coming to win them and then come and finish them in Accra.” Abdul Razak told Adamu Muftawu of Radio Gold Talk Sport.

Abdul Razak has previously managed Asante Kotoko, Stade Malian and Dragons de L’Ouémé of Bénin.

He has served as Black Stars assistant coach as well.
