Abdul Mumin marks Rayo Vallecano debut in defeat

The Ghanaian center-back climbed off the bench to make his debut for Spanish side Rayo Vallecano on Saturday evening.

The 24-year old defender saw few minutes of game time, marking his debut in 2-3 defeat to Atletico Bilbao in match week 6 of the 2022/23 La Liga Santander.

Argentine attacker Óscar Trejo strike first for the visitors at the San Mamés Barria stadium but failed to hold unto their lead with the Iñaki brothers dispatching them in a five goal thriller.

Former Chelsea FC and Manchester United forward Radamel Falcao scored the second goal of Rayo Vallecano in the 80th minute with time denying them to fight harder.

Ghanaian played Abdul Mumin who joined Rayo Vallecano in the summer transfer was introduced in the 77th minute as he retired French national Lejeune for few game time.

He joined Rayo from Vitória Guimarães on a long term contract.
