Black Stars defender, Mohammed Salisu, says the Black Stars can do better at the 2022 FIFA World Cup should they focus on their game plan and target.

The Black Stars are looking to make history or equal a milestone achieved in 2010 when the team reached the quarterfinal of the global tournament in South Africa.

Salisu, who lasted 77 minutes during Ghana’s friendly game against Switzerland, believes the team is capable of doing more following the 2-0 victory.

“We are from different clubs but we have good quality in the team. The players all play at the top level,” he told JoySports after the game.

“I think it’s a young team with great talents. If we focus on our journey, we can do more.”

The Southampton centre-back was also on target for the first time in a Ghana shirt and said he felt the goal was coming.

“I think I should have scored in the first half but I missed [the opportunity]. In my mind, I was thinking I need to score in the second half [and it happened],” he added.
